The Bearcat by Ethan Graham Roeder
The Cockpit Theatre, The Phoenix Arts Club

Set in an Appalachian town on the brink of progress, THE BEARCAT is an ode to club culture — who lives it, who loathes it, and who’s left standing to protect it. A comedy, cabaret, drag extravaganza.
2023 & 2024
Nevernatal by Freya Magee
Theatre 503, Hen & Chickens, Edinburgh Fringe

Everyone’s getting married and having babies and Catherine’s got a thesis and a hangover. Now even her bestie Isabelle is having a baby shower and Catherine has to wade through yet another living Pinterest hell and play that repulsive chocolate nappy game. Can you stay friends when you’re in completely different places?

Woebegone by Rhia Burston
Theatre503

Woebegone tells the story of three young women united by their struggles and divided by the harsh realities of womanhood. It addresses the challenges they face, critiques societal indifference, and delves the complexities of their friendships - love joy, and frustration.
2025
Sisterland by Georga De La Cour
The Union Theatre, Greenwich Theatre

Lydia escapes to the toilet fearing the worst, while all Cassie wants is some toilet roll. The two worlds collide and the sisterhood is formed. A hilarious, uplifting story about the power of female friendship and finding connection in the most unlikely of places.

Michael is stuck. He relives the same day over and over again. Is it something he did? A nuclear war? Or... whales?
Kill the Dinosaur is a surrealist dark comedy about fractured relationships, the lies we tell ourselves, and the search for meaning in the void.

Testimonials
"I felt supported throughout our process and it made my job as an actor feel easy. Charlotte is an amazing director and has so much passion behind her work."

Rhia Burston, Actor & Writer of Woebegone
“Working with Charlotte as a director was a very relaxed and collaborative process which I thoroughly enjoyed. She not only cares about her actors as professionals but as people too.”

Candice Price, Actor in Nevernatal
"Charlotte is an organised, reliable, ballsy director with a wealth of ideas. When I worked with her she was also acting in the production; a challenge which she took on with grace and humility. We had limited time and resources and we had to work the play for 3 different stages and lengths! But Charlotte always made it work, bringing positivity, creativity and fun to the rehearsal room. Charlotte is the kind of director you want to be your friend, which is a great thing because friendship creates trust and trust provides actors with freedom of expression and a safe space to try new things."

Flora Olgilvy, Actor in Nevernatal
From the moment Charlotte took on directing 'Sisterland' it was as if the stars had aligned.
Dedicated, curious and with an ear for comic timing, Charlotte is a Director that is constantly seeking truth in all of her work. She is an open and inquisitive collaborator and a thoughtful leader, creating a safe and creative space for exploration. Efficient organisation, extensive industry knowledge and a laid back, can-do approach are just a handful of the invaluable qualities Charlotte brings to a rehearsal room.
Georga De La Cour, Writer of Sisterland
